Text and narration text by Judy Anderson, a social and architectural historian who credits several individuals for much of the foregoing information about the town, its residents, and the historic ownership of the houses:

  • Robert Booth Jr., long-time house history researcher;
  • author Virginia Gamage, who helped to establish Marblehead’s Historic District;
  • town historian Bette Hunt, a life-long native with family roots in Nova Scotia;
  • award-winning history teacher Donald Doliber, whose ancestor was among the first to arrive in 1629;
  • various authors of articles in Marblehead Magazine published by William Purdin, Legend Publishing, now online.
